DNT offers one of Europe's larger marked hiking trail networks (20,000 km) and arguably the world's most extensive cross-country skiing track networks (7000 km). You can hike or ski in comfort, as there are 460 cabins in the networks across the country, or seek challenge, as Norway is one of the least densely populated countries of the world, with extensive areas available for outdoor activities, many of them readily available, close to cities.
